Our expertise in electrical engineering enables us to design, develop and deliver complex automated features and functionalities of our healthcare devices. These functionalities are often driven by electronic input signals which can either be analog or digital.  

Proof of concept development 

We provide complete design and development of complete system solutions for application-specific requirements. Complete system solutions include the implementation of complete system architecture with the front-end electronics, workflow designing, and selection of microprocessor or microcontroller platform. We deliver complete solutions, including hardware design, firmware development, and software front end. Using our existing reference designs for different power management, workflow management, custom applications, and wireless communication, we provide quick realization of working proof-of-concept.  

Design for manufacturing 

For existing circuit designs we provide DFM analysis which helps in qualifying a design for manufacturing at scale. DFM analysis includes in-depth analysis of printed circuit boards to verify the routing framework to ensure there are no back current or ground loop. This also includes verifying component placement to ensure they are compliant with the global pick and place protocol followed.  

Design for testing  

Addition of test points compliant with standard test jigs is important to ensure an automatic or semi-automatic testing protocol is implemented. In order to achieve this, our service includes inspection of the design to add the necessary features to ensure design is design for tests ready.  

BOM Optimisation  

Active and passive electronic components sourcing have been a critical component of electronic product management. Components selection needs to be efficiently managed during the design stage itself to ensure there are no problems faced when we move from pilot to manufacturing.  

We provide Bill of Materials optimisation services, where a thorough evaluation of the complete system is performed. This ensures all the parts used in the design are in the active lifecycle. Alternate parts with the same footprint are selected to ensure an easy swap in procedure can be implemented during production.   

Design for reliability 

We provide evaluation of hardware projects for design for reliability evaluation. This ensures the system can provide the same functionality over its complete project lifetime. Affecting parameters such as mechanical stress, temperature and humidity ranges. This evaluation is done using a detailed study of all the electronic components and raw materials used.  

PCB Designing 

We provide turn-key solutions for rapid development of PCB design for 2-layer,4-layer and 6-layer routing. Complete PCB design from schematic generation, netlist generation, electrical review checklist, design review checklist, routing and Gerber generation services are provided. EMI/EMC performance of the circuit can be made compliant as per the regulatory requirement. This ensures the performance of the end circuit can clear the different electrical tests the system needs to clear.
